Hear the words of the prophets as you thresh grain, make cheese, spin wool, press oil from fresh olives and wine from fresh grapes. You’ll even dress like them!
At Kfar Kedem the Galilee comes to life. Located at Hoshaya, a community of Orthodox Jewish families, Kfar Kedem creates a holistic experience using all your senses, involving you in the actual production of household staples such as milk, wool, and bread, and connecting these tangible experiences with the values and spirit of the ages from the time of the Bible and the Mishnah, that are still part of our lives today. Your experience will be enriched with historical and spiritual context provided by our professional guides. Complete the experience with warm hospitality and delicious, rustic & kosher dining in our shepherds’ tent.
Our place also hosts special events of up to 25o guests, providing a marvelous, unique set-up for your joyous function. Naturally, it is possible to combine the event with the activities, which is especially suitable for Bar Mitzvah\ Bat Mitzvah event.

Kfar Kedem is located in the lower Galilee, between Tiberias and Haifa, on one of the main roads of the Galilee, paved over a route that has served this area for thousands of years.

Homing pigeons

Pigeon Note – How did the ancients convey their messages without smartphone or e-mail? Find out and do it yourself ! It’s a unique experience ! before leaving Kfar Kedem you’d get the pigeon in a box with a special note, so it can be a surprise for the others.  When you get to your next stop-you launch it with the note you’ve written and upon its’ arrival we scan the note and send it back to you.
